The visibility of federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun has recently received a boost as Thomson Reuters IP & science bestowed the Director (IGR), Dr. E.O. Agbalagba with the prestigious award of “Highly Cited Researcher”.

According to the Registrar, Mr. EjikemenworIchendu, FCAI, FNIM, the honour is product of diligence and total commitment to professionalism.

In an official letter of commendation to the awardee dated 20th June 2018, Mr. Ichendu stated that “as a university community, we are pleased to associate and share with you the joy of the well-deserved honour” adding; “we salute your resilience and quality contributions to the advancement of knowledge, especially in your area of discipline.

The Registrar noted that the Vice Chancellor, AkiiIbhadode, FAS, is enthused about this spirit-lifting development.
